 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Several Injured as Car Rams Into Crowd in Munich


A car plowed into a crowd near Munich’s central train station on Thursday, injuring at least 15 people, according to police reports.


The incident occurred just a day before the Munich Security Conference, where US Vice President JD Vance and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are expected to arrive later today, German newspaper Bild reported.


Authorities launched a large-scale police operation at the scene. In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), Munich police confirmed that the driver had been detained and was no longer a threat.


According to local broadcaster BR, the victims appeared to be part of a demonstration linked to a strike organized by the Verdi trade union.
