 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  Three Air Peace Passengers Arrested for Unruly Conduct on London-Lagos Flight


Security personnel at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, have arrested three passengers for disruptive behavior aboard an Air Peace flight from London.


Reports indicate that Adedigba Adewale and Ashibogu Magnus, originally assigned to Economy Class, forcefully occupied Business Class seats and repeatedly ignored crew instructions to return to their designated spots.


Despite efforts to resolve the situation, the passengers remained defiant. They also openly consumed a bottle of rum they had brought on board, with a third passenger, Iwonze Benjamin, joining them.


Their actions raised security concerns, prompting the captain to issue multiple announcements and alert security officials in Nigeria.


Upon arrival, the three individuals were taken into custody for further investigation, with legal action expected to follow.
