 LAGOS RE-INTRODUCES MONTHLY ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION EXERCISE …Governor, Deputy lead State officials to clean up Mushin corridor Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Saturday, announced the re-introduction of the Monthly Environmental Sanitation in the State. The Governor said the exercise will hold every last Saturday of the Month between the hours of 6:30am and 8:30am but without movement restrictions. He stressed that the exercise would be monitored by State officials with appropriate sanctions to be meted out to erring neighbourhoods and markets. Sanwo-Olu made the pronouncement during a ceremony held in Olosa Bus Stop in Mushin which marked the symbolic flag-off of the monthly sanitation. The Governor, who led his Deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, and member of the State cabinet on the mission, said the culture of environmental responsibility must be imbibed by the residents across all communities in the state and reflect same in their lifestyle. YOBE GOVERNOR IS SET TO COMPLETE NIGERIA'S BIGGEST MODERN TRUCK TRANSIT PARK IN POTISKUM. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 Yobe Governor, Mala Buni sets to complete Nigeria's biggest modern Truck Transit Park in Potiskum. 


It would provide direct jobs to more than 5000 people.....


The project is one of the numerous capital projects initiated by Gov. Mai Mala Buni in his efforts to improve the economy of the state by improving revenue generation, providing job opportunities to thousands of Yobeans.  


As it's undeniable that Potiskum is the destination of trucks in the country, the project would help to promote safety and security of cargoes and haulage vehicles while in transit, reduce pilferage and theft of cargoes, etc. 


As proposed by Gov. Buni administration, the Potiskum TTP would contain the following facilities: 

1. Fuel & Gas station

2. Banking facilities

3. Mechanic Workshop

4. Recreation centres

5. Motel / Hotels 

6. Garage parking slots

7. Safety/ security officers

8. Fire fighters 

9. Electricity and water supply

10. Clinic

11. Well designed road network

12. Training centres 

13. Shops.
