A Michigan mother is outraged after the school principal makes her 9-year-old son clean up another student's urine.

Kaitlynn McCarthy is demanding answers after her son came home from school visibly upset.

When she asked the young boy what was going on, he had this to say, "Mom the teacher made me get a paper towel and clean somebody's pee up."

The incident occurred at Ebeling Elementary school in Macomb, Michigan.

McCarthy said her son was humiliated and broke down in tears in front of his entire class.

Kaitlynn wasted no time confronting the school principal who had no qualms in confirming she had in fact made the 9-year-old clean urine off the floor.

She said the principal told her that her son was the last one in the restroom and it is not the custodians job to clean up after every boy who pees. (WOW)

Kaitlynn says she is very disappointed in the principal's actions and will be sending her kids to a different district next year.

The school has released the following statement in regards to the incident

Utica Community Schools said in a statement, “District protocols require that our facilities staff or other trained personnel clean and manage our restrooms and classrooms. Currently, the situation is being investigated to ensure that proper protocols are understood and being followed within the building. As this matter involves the privacy of students and staff members, the district will not comment further at this time.”
