 Flu outbreak hits Air Force basic training in Texas after vaccine mandate lifted, with 159 cases reported among recruits    A flu outbreak is affecting Air Force basic training in San Antonio, Texas, with at least 159 confirmed cases and two hospitalizations reported among recruits as health officials respond to a cluster of infections at Joint Base San Antonio. The outbreak developed over the past several weeks and has prompted medical staff to isolate symptomatic trainees, treat cases, and monitor those who were in close contact with infected individuals. Officials said additional cases and hospitalizations are still being assessed. An Air Force spokesperson confirmed the situation, describing it as a localized influenza outbreak within the basic military training program.   Boxing heavyweight legend George Foreman has died aged 76 as a devout preacher


 Foreman was born in Marshall, Texas, on 10 January 1949, and raised along with six siblings by a single mother 


 Foreman won the heavyweight gold medal at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City, aged 19, before turning pro and winning 37 consecutive matches.


His legendary rivalry with Muhammad Ali culminated in the famous ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ title bout in October 1974 in Zaire now Congo Kinshasa.

 

He fought in two of the most iconic boxing events of all time, taking on Joe Frazier in 'The Fight of the Century' in 1971 and then Muhammad Ali in 'The Rumble in the Jungle' in 1974.


 ‘Big George’ reigned as world champion twice during a storied career at the top – once as America’s most feared young fighter and then again as the oldest champion in history 21 years apart.


 The hard-hitting heavyweight was outclassed by Muhammad Ali in 1974, losing his first world title and retiring from the sport three years later. In need of money after almost becoming homeless, he returned to the sport a decade later and would soon mount another title charge, making history in 1994 when he beat Michael Moorer.


 George Foreman Grill, was a market hit in 1994 "Lean Mean Grilling Machine".


 Foreman has/had a dozen children. Five of his sons are named George.
