The Coalition strongly condemned this barbaric act and the incitement of local youths to commit such a heinous crime adding that, the actions of the mob, driven by misinformation and ignorance, were an affront to humanity and decency.

It urged citizens to reject mob justice and seek constructive dialogue instead of resorting to violence.

CNG demanded an immediate and thorough investigation into this tragedy, just as it questioned the delayed response of security operatives, which resulted in avoidable loss of lives.
