 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Dolly Parton’s husband is dead


Carl Dean, the husband of Dolly Parton, has died Monday, aged 82.

The couple were married for almost 60 years, but the country music superstar kept out of the spotlight.

“Carl and I spent many wonderful years together.

“Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years,” Parton wrote in a post on X.

Dolly met Dean in 1964 outside the Wishy Washy Laundromat in Nashville, Tennessee. At the time, she was 18 and he was 21.

“I was surprised and delighted that while he talked to me, he looked at my face (a rare thing for me),” she said.

“He seemed to be genuinely interested in finding out who I was and what I was about,” she added.

They married two years later in May 1966 in a simple ceremony attended only by Parton’s mother, the preacher and his wife.
