 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State.  FG Confirms Remita Shutdown, Introduces TMRAS for Revenue Collection


The Nigerian government has announced that the Treasury Management & Revenue Assurance System (TMRAS) will replace REMITA as the official revenue collection platform starting March 4, 2025.


A memo from the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF) confirmed the transition, stating that TMRAS will enhance revenue collection, payment management, and tax remittance across government agencies.


The rollout will occur in two phases:

Phase One (March 4, 2025): Covers naira transactions, tax deductions, and payment tracking.

Phase Two (June 1, 2025): Introduces foreign exchange transactions and budgetary controls.


A transition period from March 4 to May 4, 2025, will allow REMITA to run alongside TMRAS, after which all government payments will shift to the new system.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
