FOUR CHILDREN RESCUED AFTER THEY WERE FOUND WORKING IN A FACTORY, IN INDIA. (PHOTO).

A shocking case of child labour has come to light in Jyoti Nagar, Bamunimaidan, where minors were found working illegally in an industrial unit. Thanks to the quick action of a vigilant local youth, four child labourers were rescued on Sunday with the help of Chandmari police and a Child Protection officer. The incident has raised serious concerns about the exploitation of children in workplaces.

According to reports, the rescued minors, aged around 14 and 15, had been working for a long time at M/S Allied Industries, a company based in Bamunimaidan. After receiving information from the concerned local youth, the police and child protection authorities conducted a raid at around 2:30 PM. Their timely intervention helped bring the illegal activities to light and ensured the safety of the children.

Initially, the factory management tried to hide the children and resisted the police by refusing to open the gates. However, after multiple warnings, the authorities managed to enter the premises. A thorough half-hour-long search was conducted, during which the four minors were discovered and safely rescued. The police have taken the matter seriously and are expected to take strict action against those responsible.

The rescue has highlighted the ongoing issue of child labour and the need for stronger enforcement of laws protecting minors. Authorities have assured that further investigations will be carried out, and the rescued children will be provided with necessary support and rehabilitation.
