 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. Actress Iyabo Ojo has expressed gratitude and pride in how her good deeds have positively impacted her children.

In a recent interview with Seun Oloketuyi, Iyabo said she believes that her kids are reaping the benefits of her hard work and kindness.

Iyabo emphasised the value of self-reliance, noting that individuals must take care of themselves.

She also credited daughter, Priscilla, with encouraging her to join TikTok, which has generated significant income for her.

Iyabo said: “Good pay. I feel like what I am reaping today or my children are reaping today is the good that I have done.

“When I die today, nobody is dying with me. When I am hungry right now, no matter how much you love me, you won’t give me your womb or your intestines to quench my hunger; I have to sort myself out.

“Every man is on his own. When you have kids early, trust me you don’t want to grow old because your kids will always make you feel young. Priscilla talked me into using TikTok, if I didn’t have her in my life, I would probably not have made so much money on TikTok”.
