 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. POLICE: SON BEAT HIS PARENTS TO DEATH WITH CINDER BLOCK IN MISSISSIPPI. (PHOTO).


 A man was arrested Wednesday night after police say he beat his parents to death with a cinderblock.

Darold Payne, 39, was arrested following a four-hour standoff with law enforcement after he barricaded himself inside his home on Krebs Avenue.

Coroner Bruce Lynd identified the victims as 86-year-old Harold Payne and 72-year-old Jittuan Payne, the suspect's father and mother.

PASCAGOULA, Miss.  - A suspect in Mississippi was arrested after police said he beat his parents to death with a cinder block.


Police in Pascagoula said 39-year-old Darold Sim Payne was arrested after a four-hour standoff with law enforcement after he barricaded himself inside his home.


The Jackson County Coroner identified the victims as the suspect’s father and mother, 86-year-old Harold Payne and 72-year-old Jittuan Payne.


The coroner confirmed the couple both died of blunt force trauma.
