  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. Saudi Arabia Confirms Sunday For Eid Al-Fitr Celebrations

The moon sighting in Saudi Arabia is currently underway to mark the beginning of Eid al-Fitr. The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has called upon citizens to sight the crescent moon today, March 29, 2025, which corresponds to the 29th day of Ramadan 1446 AH ¹.


If the moon is sighted, Eid al-Fitr celebrations will commence on Sunday, March 30, 2025. Otherwise, the celebrations will begin on Monday, March 31, 2025. The Royal Court of Saudi Arabia typically makes the official announcement after sunset, based on reports from the Kingdom's observatories ¹.


In Saudi Arabia, the moon sighting process involves local residents reporting to the nearest court if they spot the crescent moon. The Supreme Court then confirms the sighting and announces the start of Eid al-Fitr ¹.
