 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  Super Eagles Coach Eric Chelle Releases 35-Man Squad for 2026 World Cup Qualifiers


New Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has announced a 35-man provisional squad for Nigeria’s upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda (March 21) and Zimbabwe (March 25).


Key Highlights:

Ahmed Musa returns to the squad alongside vice-captain William Troost-Ekong and Joe Aribo.

Six new players have been included, including home-based talents Papa Mustapha, Kayode Bankole, and Ifeanyi Onyebuchi.

The squad blends experienced internationals with emerging stars across European and domestic leagues.


The squad features players across all positions, with Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, and Kelechi Iheanacho leading the attack.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
