 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  TROOPS OF 3 DIVISION/OPERATION SAFE HAVEN ARREST NOTORIOUS CRIMINAL RECOVER ARMS AMMUNITION AND RUSTLED CATTLE IN MANGU LGA OF PLATEAU STATE


The troops of 3 Division/Operation SAFE HAVEN on Operation LAFIYAN JAMA'A in Mangu LGA of Plateau State on 23 March 2025 at about 4:50pm responded to information about criminal activities around Youth Centre at Sabon Layi Axis in Mangu LGA of Plateau State. During the operation, troops made contact with a cattle rustling syndicate who had rustled 30 cows. Troops exchanged fire and overwhelmed the criminals forcing them to free. Troops exploited the general area and arrested one Nashak Wilson aged 29 years from Jwakkom Village in Mangu LGA of Plateau State armed with one AK-47 rifle loaded with 2 rounds of 7.62 mm (Special). Further exploitation led to the recovery of 30 cows rustled by the criminal syndicate.  


The recovered cows have been handed over to the owner, Alhaji Yakuba Musa from Kwahas Village in Mangu LGA of Plateau State. Meanwhile, the arrested suspect and recovered arms and ammunition are in custody for further action. Troops are on the trail of the fleeing criminals.
