 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  How Trump, Vance held back from hitting Zelensky is a miracle – Russia’s Zakharova


Russia’s foreign ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, said on Friday that the way U.S. President Donald Trump and his Vice President, JD Vance, showed “restraint” by not hitting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was a miracle.

Trump cancelled a planned press conference with Zelensky after a contentious meeting at the White House.

During the meeting, Trump and Vance accused Zelensky of being insufficiently grateful for U.S. support in the war with Russia.

Trump also said Zelensky had “disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office.”

He further insisted that Zelensky “can come back when he is ready for peace.”

Reacting to the development, Zakharova wrote on Telegram: “I think Zelenskyy’s biggest lie of all his lies was his assertion in the White House that the Kyiv regime in 2022 was alone, without support. How Trump and Vance held back from hitting that scumbag is a miracle of restraint.”
