  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Anambra Assembly Confirms Muogbo As Accountant General Of Local Governments

The Anambra State House of Assembly has confirmed Mrs. Nneoma Muogbo as the Accountant General of Local Governments in the state.


The confirmation followed a letter sent to the House by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, nominating Mrs. Muogbo for the position.


Presenting the report of the House Committee on Screening, the Chairman of the Committee and Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Okoye, said that the committee conducted a thorough screening of the nominee and found her worthy and qualified for the office.


The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze, charged the new Accountant General to bring her wealth of experience to bear and discharge her duties diligently in line with stipulated laws to advance the local government system.


In her vote of thanks, Mrs. Muogbo expressed gratitude to the House for the confirmation and assured that she would bring positive change to the local government administration.
