  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Colombia Declares National Emergency as Yellow Fever Outbreak Claims 34 Lives


Colombia has declared a national health and economic emergency following a deadly yellow fever outbreak that has killed 34 people out of 74 confirmed cases since January.


Health Minister Guillermo Jaramillo said the mosquito-borne virus, which carries a fatality rate of nearly 50%, has spread beyond traditional rural zones, now posing a wider threat. The hardest-hit area is Tolima, where cases jumped from four last September to 22 by mid-April.


Authorities are urging mass vaccination and caution during Easter travel. Travelers in and out of the country may soon be required to present vaccination cards.


President Gustavo Petro attributed the outbreak’s spread to climate change and warned unvaccinated citizens to avoid high-risk regions, especially the coffee belt. Meanwhile, the U.S. CDC has raised its yellow fever alert for parts of South America, including Colombia.
