Easter: Bishop Ezeofor Urges Leaders To Emulate Christ's Humility In Serving Humanity

By Uzo Ugwunze

The Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Rt Rev Samuel Ezeofor has charged leaders at different levels to emulate the humility of Jesus Christ in serving humanity.

The Bishop gave the advice in his Easter message delivered at the chapel of Grace Bishop's Court, Ekwulobia, Aguata Local Government Area.

He regretted that many leaders, especially those in elective positions were falling short of expectations in service delivery.

Ezeofor who doubles as National Chairman, Evangelical Fellowship in the Anglican Communion (EFAC), Nigeria called for attitudinal change.

He reminded the leaders of the need to always lead with the fear of the lord.

The prelate also charged affluent members to remember the less privileged in their midst as they celebrate Easter which he said brought salvation and hope to mankind.
