 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  Egypt president Sisi, Macron affirm 2-state solution is 'only guarantee' for peace


Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call Saturday from French President Emmanuel Macron, where both leaders discussed developments in Gaza Strip, according to Egypt Today.

 

The Official Spokesperson for the Presidency stated that the call addressed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them, as part of preparations for the French President's upcoming visit to Egypt.

 

Discussions focused on the most important cooperation topics raised during the visit and prospects for strengthening them in line with the interests of the two friendly countries, including the possibility of holding a tripartite Egyptian-French-Jordanian summit in Cairo during the French President's visit to Egypt.

 

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the Official Spokesperson, added that the call addressed developments in the Gaza Strip, where Egyptian efforts to achieve a ceasefire were reviewed.

 

The two presidents emphasized the importance of restoring calm through an immediate ceasefire and the provision of humanitarian aid. They also emphasized the importance of the two-state solution as the only guarantee for achieving lasting peace in the region.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
