  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  ELEVEN SUSPECTS ARRESTED DURING OPERATION VALA UMGODI IN LIMPOPO


Eleven (11) suspects aged between 20 and 54 were arrested during the ongoing Operation Vala Umgodi in Limpopo on Friday, 25 April 2025. The arrests took place across the Sekhukhune, Mopani, and Vhembe districts.


In Sekhukhune, four (4) suspects were caught in the Hlogotlou policing area for illegal sand mining. Members of Operation Vala Umgodi spotted the suspects loading sand into trucks at Luckau Village. Upon investigation, it was found that they had no permits to mine in the area. They were immediately arrested, and police confiscated two white Mercedes Benz trucks, a white Toyota Dyna truck, four pickaxes, eleven shovels, and five spades.


Meanwhile, in Mopani and Vhembe districts, seven (7) suspects aged between 20 and 47 were arrested for being illegal immigrants. These arrests were made in the Letsitele and Musina policing areas.


All suspects are expected to appear in their respective local Magistrate’s Courts soon.
