 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Giyani Police Seek Public Help After Rape of Two Girls in Blinkwater


Giyani police are still appealing to the public for any information that could help in their investigation after two young women, aged 19 and 20, from the same family were raped in Blinkwater village outside Giyani.


The horrific incident has shocked the local community, prompting visits from leaders and activists. Among them was ANC Youth League PEC member Aeesha Ndwambe, who visited the affected family to offer comfort and support.


Aeesha encouraged the family to seek medical and psychological help during this difficult time and assured them that justice must be served.


Anyone with information is urged to contact the Giyani police. All information will be treated confidentially.
