 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Man Killed by Mob After Allegedly Stabbing Grandmother in Mountview, KZN


A 24-year-old man was beaten to death by community members in Mountview, KwaZulu-Natal, on Monday morning after allegedly stabbing his 61-year-old grandmother during an argument over money to buy drugs.


Reaction Officers were dispatched to a residence on Jackaranda Avenue around 16:21 on Sunday, where it was reported that the man had stabbed his grandmother in the neck. She was rushed to hospital for treatment.


On Monday, members of the community apprehended the suspect, tied his hands and feet with rope, and fatally assaulted him using sticks and whips.


According to reports, the deceased had a history of violence towards his grandmother.
