 LAGOS LAW REFORM COMMISSION ENGAGES TOURISM, AGRICULTURE MINISTRIES ON SECTORAL LAW REFORMS The Lagos State Law Reform Commission recently held consultative engagements with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems as part of ongoing efforts to review, modernise and harmonise sectoral laws for improved governance, institutional efficiency and sustainable development in Lagos State. The engagement with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture was initiated and led by the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Mrs. Oluyemisi Ogunlola.  The delegation was received by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Princess Adebopo Oyekan-Ismaila, alongside relevant departmental and agency representatives.  NIGERIAN NAVY SHIP SOROH CONDUCTS MEDICAL RHAPSODY IN BAYELSA STATE


On Friday 4 April 2025, Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) SOROH led by the Commander, Commodore OA Akinbami conducted a Medical Rhapsody in Tombia Community, Yenagoa LGA of Bayelsa State. The Rhapsody had series of services rendered to members of the Community which included free general consultation, free blood pressure checks, eye screening with free medicated glasses, free laboratory tests, free insecticide treated nets as well as health talk.


In his remarks, the Commander NNS SOROH stated that the outreach was in line with the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral EI Ogalla’s strategic directive to all Commands, Ships and Establishments to conduct a medical outreach to host communities. Lastly, he said that the outreach will enhance Civil Military relationship with the host community thereby aiding intelligence gathering.


In attendance was the Acting paramount ruler of Tombia Community, Chief (Egnr) Ayabowei Christian Akpofaa Otobotekere represented by the Community Development Chairman, Mr Exodus Ebi who expressed gratitude to the Nigerian Navy for bringing such initiative to his community.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
