 PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT NAF RELEASES LIST OF ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS FOR BMTC 46/2025 APTITUDE TEST The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) wishes to inform the public that the list of eligible applicants for the Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025 Aptitude Test has been published on the NAF Recruitment Portal. The list can be accessed via www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng . The Aptitude Test is scheduled for 13 December 2025 at 15 designated centres nationwide, commencing at 0700hrs. All shortlisted applicants are advised to arrive early and must come with their acknowledgement slips and required writing materials, as these are compulsory for participation. The NAF remains committed to a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process aimed at selecting the most qualified young Nigerians to serve with honour and professionalism.  NSCDC Arrests 45-Year-Old for Railway Vandalism in Bauchi, Recovers Stolen Tracks

The Bauchi State Command of the NSCDC has arrested a 45-year-old man, Usman Jungudo, for railway vandalism and recovered stolen railway materials worth millions.


Commandant Oloyede Nelson Oyerinde said the arrest followed intelligence from the DSS, leading to the recovery of a Peugeot J5 van loaded with vandalized components, including 53 sleepers, 14 fish plates, and 20 bags of charcoal.


The suspect reportedly confessed to dismantling and selling the parts. Oyerinde vowed zero tolerance for vandalism and promised full prosecution. Investigations are ongoing.
