 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Operation Sebabougou: Malian Forces Strengthen Sahel Security


Since dawn on April 28, the Malian Armed Forces launched a major operation in the Sébabougou sector, in the Nioro region of the Sahel, according to an army statement.


The objective was to restore order and secure the return of populations displaced by the atrocities of armed terrorist groups, Sputnik reported.


The operation's progress is marked by key achievements:


Regaining control of Sébabougou after an ambush attempt was repelled;


Airstrikes destroyed several enemy bases in forested areas;


21 terrorist fighters were neutralized, with substantial quantities of weapons recovered.


During the operation, five Malian soldiers were injured, and the Malian army seized military equipment left behind by fleeing terrorists.
