 TROOPS APPREHEND SUSPECTED TERRORIST COLLABORATORS, FAMILY OF ISWAP FINANCE CHIEF SURRENDERS, RECOVER LOGISTICS ITEMS Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have continued to sustain pressure on  terrorists through series of intelligence-led operations that resulted in the arrest of suspected terrorist collaborators, the surrender of the family members of a senior ISWAP commander, and the recovery of terrorist logistics items. In one of the operations conducted on 27 July 2026, troops of 5 Brigade arrested six ISWAP collaborators in Damasak, Borno State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly generating funds for the terrorist group through the procurement and sale of cattle at designated markets in Gubio, Damasak and Ajuwango. Items recovered from the suspects included one Volkswagen Golf vehicle, vehicle keys, four mobile phones of different brands, cow meat and the sum of ₦317,950.00.  SECURITY ALERT: FULANI TERRORISTS ABDUCT PASSENGERS IN TWO COMMERCIAL VEHICLES HEADING TO MAKURDI THROUGH ADOKA - NAKA  ROAD.


The Fulani Terrorists of Nigeria have this morning, ambushed and abducted over 27 passengers who where following through Adoka-Naka Makurdi road. This happens at FULANI CHECK POINT in Jor Community, of Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue state.


According to the released victims, an aged man in purple dress and a woman with the little baby, believed to be natives of Kogi State said, the Fulani terrorists, armed with sophisticated weapons ambushed their vehicles (a Hummer Bus and the Volkswagen Salon attached in pictures) where they ordered all passengers into the bush, but on trekking a certain distance, they terrorists decided to release both the old Man and the woman with a little baby on the basis of their ages, that they may not make the journey.


The victims are currently stranded in Naka, as they arrived the NURTW motor park to share their traumatizing experiences with the Displaced People of Gwer West.
