 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  The grand finale of Indian Idol 15 has crowned its winner — Manasi Ghosh

 The singing reality show, hosted by Aditya Narayan, concluded its highly competitive season with a spectacular finale, where Manasi emerged as the winner, while Shubhajit Chakraborty was declared the first runner-up. Sneha Shankar also made it to the top three.


Judged by musical heavyweights Vishal Dadlani, Shreya Ghoshal, and Badshah, the season was packed with powerful performances, emotional moments, and musical magic. Sony TV’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle announced the winner, writing, “After weeks of music, magic, and moments — Manasi didn’t just win a title, she won a million hearts.”


Reacting to her win, an emotional Manasi said, “Abhi bhi mere ko hit nahi kiya hai ki maine yeh trophy jeeta hai. I’m blessed and grateful to get so much love from everyone. There’s a lot going on in my head. I am really overwhelmed. Thank you so much.”


Nicknamed the “Idol ki crazy girl,” Manasi won over both the judges and viewers with her energetic and soulful performances throughout the season. Along with the coveted trophy, she also took home a brand-new car and a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh.
