 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  WOMAN ( 31 ) ARRESTED FOR STABBING HER EX - BOYFRIEND TO DEATH IN GROBLERSDAL 



GROBLERSDAL: A 31 year old woman is facing murder charges after suspected of fatally stabbing her alleged former boyfriend in Groblersdal, Sekhukhune District on Saturday, 19 April at about 17h30. 


The police were alerted and on their arrival at the scene found the deceased laying at the veranda and also found the deceased ex-girlfriend  


It is further alleged that the deceased arrived and found the suspect who was with a friend. 


An argument arose between the woman and the victim and in the ensuing heated argument the man was stabbed with a sharp object allegedly by the ex girlfriend. 


The man attempted to flee the scene after being stabbed but he fell on the veranda and was certified dead by the Emergency Medical Services personnel . 


The  former girlfriend of the deceased was arrested on the scene. 


The suspect who is facing murder charge will appear before the local Magistrate's Court soon.
