 Kufana Youths Apprehend Suspected Transformer Vandals, Hand Over Suspects To Police The Executive Chairman of Kajuru Local Government Council, Hon. Dauda Madaki, has commended the vigilance and bravery of youths in Kufana community following the arrest of suspected transformer vandals in the early hours of Tuesday. The suspects, identified as Denis Reuben of Kurmin Ido, Haruna Ado of Kurmin Kwari, and another individual, were reportedly caught while allegedly attempting to steal transformer coils. Their arrest was carried out by a patrol team led by Mr. Samaila Akawu, alongside the community Youth Leader, Mr. Chris Lingo, and other vigilant youths. Following the arrest, the suspects were handed over to the Nigeria Police Force for further investigation and possible prosecution. Reacting to the development, Hon.  Woman left without both eyes after being stabbed with a screwdriver by her ex-boyfriend


A very tragic incident recently occurred in Richmond. Bongeka Nxele, the woman in the photo, told her boyfriend that she no longer wanted to be with him. This made the boyfriend angry, and he stabbed both of her eyes with a screwdriver, leaving her blind.


The man was later arrested and is expected to appear in court today, April 29, 2025, at the Richmond court. Police Minister Senzo Mchunu is expected to be in Richmond to support women.
