Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. A KENTUCKY COUPLE BOTH LOST OPPOSITE ARMS ATTEMPTING TO CLING TO EACH OTHER AS A TORNADO ROARED THROUGH THE AREA... LEAVING THEIR HOME DESTROYED.(PHOTO).

A Kentucky couple both lost opposite arms attempting to cling to each other as a tornado roared through the area... leaving their home destroyed.

Paul and Gail Cline were unfortunately directly in the path of the deadly tornado that struck London, Kentucky on Friday, May 16th.

Paul and Gail's home was completely destroyed and the couple were trapped under debris with life threatening injuries after the storm had passed.

Fortunately, a neighbor went to the home to check on his friends and heard Gail's cries for help. The couple was eventually freed from the debris and rushed to a local hospital with each of them having lost an arm.

Doctors and family alike attribute their injuries to the fact that Paul and Gail desperately clung to each other until they were literally ripped apart. How tragic.

Sadly, Gail Cline is currently on life support and continues to fight for her life. Doctors have reported Paul is improving and his prognosis seems promising.

Not only their home, but both of their vehicles were destroyed during the tornado leaving this couple with nothing when they are released from the hospital.  The family is starting a GoFundMe to help Paul and Gail attempt to rebuild their lives.

The family has stated that whatever happens, Paul and Gail are strong enough to support each other through this tragedy, just like they supported each other as the storm raged overhead.

Our thoughts are with Paul and Gail Cline as they try to recover from this tragic incident. We pray that Gail has a full recovery and can be removed from life support.
