  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon.Somtochukwu Udeze has described the Traditional Ruler of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe as one of the highly revered and erudite traditional rulers in Nigeria.


In his goodwill message to Igwe Achebe as he marks his 84th birthday, Rt.Hon.Udeze noted that Igwe Achebe's training, candour, cognitive experience in public sector as well as deep knowledge of Igbo cultural heritage has distinguished him among his contemporaries, and also provided enough guide to his traditional affairs.


The Speaker who extolled Igwe Achebe's contributions to the growth and development of the traditional institutions in the state and South-east Zone, enjoined other traditional rulers in Igbo land to emulate his passion and zeal for the advancement of the Igbo cultural heritage and his efforts to ensure a secure and unbiased Igbo nation.


While wishing Igwe Achebe more fruitful years on the throne and longevity, Rt Hon.Udeze called on Ndi Onitsha and beyond to give maximum support to Igwe Achebe at all times to enable him continue to pilot the traditional affairs of Onitsha kingdom and other engagements effectively.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
