Tanzania closes Nduta camp housing thousands of Burundi refugees Tanzania has closed a camp housing thousands of Burundian refugees and repatriated all but a handful, activists and the United Nations said. Burundian refugees have complained in recent months of being forcibly evicted from the Nduta camp in northwestern Tanzania, following a deal between the governments in Dar Es Salaam and Bujumbura to repatriate around 100,000 of them by June. As of late 2025, there were an estimated 142,000 Burundian refugees housed in two Tanzanian camps - Nduta and Nyarugusu, according to the United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR). "The approximately 3,000 refugees who remained in the (Nduta) camp were forcibly loaded onto vehicles to be sent back to Burundi on Thursday," the Coalition for Human Rights/Living in Refugee Camps (CDH/VICAR) said, AFP reported.  Barcelona fight back to hold Inter in six-goal thriller

Barcelona fought back from two goals down to force a dramatic 3-3 draw against Inter Milan in a pulsating first leg of their Champions League semi-final at the iconic Camp Nou on Wednesday night.

The match, a rollercoaster of emotions, saw both teams go toe-to-toe in a thrilling encounter that had fans on the edge of their seats from the first minute.

It was Inter Milan who struck first with a stunning piece of play in the opening minute. Denzel Dumfries delivered a perfect cross into the box, and Marcus Thuram executed a sublime back-heel finish to give the visitors the lead, 1-0.

Barcelona‘s early struggles continued as Dumfries doubled Inter’s advantage just 21 minutes later. His clinical strike from inside the box, following a header from Francesco Acerbi, left Barcelona reeling at 2-0.

However, the hosts soon began to find their rhythm. Barcelona’s young sensation, Lamine Yamal, reduced the deficit with a brilliant solo run and a precise strike that cannoned in off the left post, bringing the score to 2-1 in the 24th minute.

Yamal was also involved in a few more dangerous moments, including a fantastic save by Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer to deny his rising shot just three minutes later.

Barcelona continued to press, and their persistence paid off in the 38th minute. Raphinha sent a perfect ball into the box, and Ferran Torres made no mistake, firing past Sommer to equalize at 2-2.

As the second half unfolded, the drama escalated. Inter regained the lead in the 64th minute when Dumfries rose highest to meet a corner and powered a header past Barcelona’s goalkeeper, making it 3-2.

But Barcelona was not done yet. Less than a minute after going behind, Raphinha unleashed a venomous shot from outside the box, hitting the crossbar. Fortune smiled on Barcelona when Sommer inadvertently diverted the ball into his own net, leveling the score at 3-3.

The final minutes of the match were filled with controversy and tension. Inter thought they had regained the lead when Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s strike found the back of the net in the 75th minute. However, the goal was ruled out after a VAR review showed an offside in the build-up, sparking anger from the Inter bench.

Barcelona continued to search for a winner, with Raphinha’s free kick in the 79th minute narrowly blocked by Sommer.

In the dying minutes, Barcelona had further chances, but Sommer’s heroic saves kept the game level, including a spectacular reflex save to deny Raphinha’s late strike in injury time.

In the end, both teams were forced to settle for a thrilling draw in this captivating Champions League semi-final first leg.

With everything still to play for, all eyes will be on the return leg as Barcelona and Inter Milan prepare for a high-stakes battle that promises even more drama.
