 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  ECOWAS COMMUNITY COURT OF JUSTICE


 The Ministry of Justice, in collaboration with the Lagos State Judiciary, played a pivotal role in hosting and supporting the External Court Session and Sensitization Outreach of the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice held in Lagos from 5th to 16th in May 2025.


The Chief Justice of Nigeria Hon. Justice Kudirat Kekere Ekun, the Chief Judge of Lagos State Jon. Justice Kazeem Alogba and the Governor of Lagos State Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu were physically present at the opening ceremony.

 

The programme, which marked a milestone in public legal education and sub-regional judicial engagement, was aimed at deepening the understanding of the role and jurisdiction of the ECOWAS Court among Nigerians and other West African citizens. It also enhanced citizens’ awareness of their rights under the ECOWAS legal framework.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
