 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Katsina: Fresh bandit attack hits Charanchi Local govt


A fresh wave of insecurity struck Katsina State on Monday night as bandits launched an attack on Rairaye community in Radda district, Charanchi Local Government Area, leaving one person injured and a large number of cattle rustled.

The incident was disclosed in a post on Tuesday by prominent security analyst, Bakatsine, via his handle on X (formerly Twitter).

“Last night, bandits stormed Rairaye in Radda district, Charanchi LGA, Katsina State. One person was injured and a large number of cattle were rustled.

“This is yet another blow as communities across Katsina continue to face growing insecurity,” Bakatsine wrote.

As of the time of filing this report, the state police command is yet to issue an official statement regarding the attack.
