 No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

MONALISA AYOBAMI STEPHEN WILL BE LAID TO REST 22ND OF MAY, 2025-FAMILY.(PHOTO).


 The family of Nollywood actress and body positivity advocate Monalisa Ayobami Stephen has announced that she will be laid to rest on Thursday, May 22, 2025, in a private interment ceremony.

 

Monalisa, aged 34, passed away on May 13 in Lagos after reportedly suffering complications from low blood sugar and internal bleeding. The heartbreaking news was first confirmed by journalist, Seun Oloketuyi.

 

Known for her standout roles in ‘Breaded Life’ (2021) and ‘Mami Wata’ (2023), Monalisa wasn’t just a screen presence—she was a fearless voice for plus-size women, mental health awareness, and radical self-love.

 

In a statement posted to her official Instagram page, her family wrote:

 


“We lay our beloved Monalisa Ayobami Stephen to rest this Thursday, May 22nd, 2025. In honour of her wishes and the family’s, this will be a private ceremony. We ask for continued prayers and respect for her memory during this time. Forever in our hearts.”


 

Monalisa’s final Instagram post, shared on April 29, showed her dancing joyfully.
