 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. “My uncle is the best Governor Osun ever had”- Davido brags

Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has publicly commended his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, for his leadership in Osun State.

Speaking during an appearance on the show Culture Knock Out (C.K.O), hosted by Chris and Baloo, Davido described Governor Adeleke as the most effective leader the state has ever had.

The singer acknowledged that some people doubted his uncle’s capabilities due to his well-known love for dancing. However, Davido emphasized that Governor Adeleke has silenced critics by delivering impressive results since taking office.

He said, “My uncle, the Dancing Governor is good vibes. He has an amazing story, he is the last born of my dad’s family. They [Osun people] never believed that he would become a governor.

“He is a real example of, ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’; just because somebody likes to dance and have a good time, it doesn’t mean when it is time to work, he won’t. Now, he’s been the best Governor that they’ve ever had.”
