 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. “My uncle is the best Governor Osun ever had”- Davido brags

Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has publicly commended his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, for his leadership in Osun State.

Speaking during an appearance on the show Culture Knock Out (C.K.O), hosted by Chris and Baloo, Davido described Governor Adeleke as the most effective leader the state has ever had.

The singer acknowledged that some people doubted his uncle’s capabilities due to his well-known love for dancing. However, Davido emphasized that Governor Adeleke has silenced critics by delivering impressive results since taking office.

He said, “My uncle, the Dancing Governor is good vibes. He has an amazing story, he is the last born of my dad’s family. They [Osun people] never believed that he would become a governor.

“He is a real example of, ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’; just because somebody likes to dance and have a good time, it doesn’t mean when it is time to work, he won’t. Now, he’s been the best Governor that they’ve ever had.”
