Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen step out in coordinated black looks for New York stroll Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen made a rare joint appearance in New York City, stepping out together for a relaxed afternoon in matching, understated fashion. The 39-year-old twins were seen walking through Midtown Manhattan on April 30, dressed in coordinated black trench coats paired with wide-leg denim. They completed the look with sunglasses, scarves, and structured alligator handbags from their luxury label, The Row, before stopping for lunch during their outing. Long before becoming fashion insiders, the sisters built global recognition as child actors through projects like Full House, It Takes Two, and New York Minute. Over time, they stepped away from Hollywood and fully transitioned into fashion, officially launching The Row in 2005.  President Tinubu to Visit Abia State on May 23 for Road Project Commissioning

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to visit Abia State on May 23, 2025, to commission the newly reconstructed 6.5-kilometer Port Harcourt Road in Aba, among other projects, according to the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi. The road, revitalized by Governor Alex Otti’s administration, had been in a state of disrepair for over 15 years.

Umahi shared this update with journalists during an inspection of the Osisioma axis of the 56-kilometer Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway, a separate federal project. The minister praised Governor Otti for the high-quality reconstruction of Port Harcourt Road, noting its completion as a significant achievement. “You know Otti is my relation, and doing good while in office runs in our veins. I’m not surprised at what he is doing,” Umahi remarked, expressing satisfaction with the governor’s performance.

Addressing concerns about the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway, Umahi revealed that reconstruction, which began in 2013, is on track for completion by November 2025, with President Tinubu expected to commission the project. However, he raised concerns about recent damage to a two-kilometer section of the expressway at Osisioma, attributed to a contractor working on underground drainage for the Abia State government. Umahi directed the Controller of Works in Abia to halt the contractor’s activities and report to the Ministry’s headquarters in Abuja for further discussions. He also pledged to collaborate with Governor Otti to resolve the issue amicably.

The upcoming presidential visit underscores the federal and state governments’ commitment to improving infrastructure in Abia State, with the Port Harcourt Road project expected to boost economic activities in Aba, a key commercial hub.
