  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. THE PRINCESS OF WALES HAS PRESENTED THE QUEEN ELIZABETH II AWARD FOR BRITISH DESIGN TO PATRICK MCDOWELL AT THE BRITISH FASHION COUNCIL IN LONDON.(PHOTOS).

 The Princess of Wales has presented the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design to Patrick McDowell at the British Fashion Council in London.


First presented by The late Queen at London Fashion Week in 2018, the Award recognises the role of British design and fashion in the country’s culture and trade.


Each year, the Award is presented to an emerging British fashion designer who shows exceptional talent and originality, whilst demonstrating value to the community and strong sustainable policies.


In 2018, Queen Elizabeth II joined Anna Wintour on the front row at London Fashion Week, before presenting Richard Quinn with the inaugural Award.


In 2019, The Queen (as Duchess of Cornwall) presented the Award to Bethany Williams.


In 2020, The Princess Royal presented the Award to Rosh Mantani.


In 2021, The Duchess of Edinburgh (as Countess of Wessex) virtually presented Priya Ahluwalia with the Award.


In 2022, The Princess of Wales (as Duchess of Cambridge) presented the Award to Saul Nash.


In 2023, The King presented Foday Dumbuya with the Award.


Last year, in 2024, The Duchess of Edinburgh presented the Award to Steven Stokey-Daley.
