 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Zamalek Terminate Contract with Former Super Eagles Coach Jose Peseiro


Egyptian football powerhouse Zamalek SC announced on Wednesday the termination of their contract with head coach Jose Peseiro, formerly of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, following a mutual agreement. The decision comes in the wake of a 2-2 draw against National Bank, adding to the mounting pressure on the 65-year-old Portuguese tactician.


Peseiro, who joined Zamalek in February on a two-year deal, faced criticism after the club’s exit from the CAF Confederation Cup last month, where they were defeated 1-0 on aggregate by South Africa’s Stellenbosch. Domestically, Zamalek trail league leaders Pyramids FC by seven points, further intensifying scrutiny on Peseiro’s tenure.


In a statement on the club’s official website, Zamalek confirmed: “Zamalek and Jose Peseiro agree to end the relationship by mutual consent. We wish him the best in future.”


During his 17-match stint with the White Knights, Peseiro secured seven wins, eight draws, and two losses.
