 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. 88 CHILDREN WERE RESCUED FROM AN IOWA CHURCH "SUMMER CAMP" AND ARE NOW IN PROTECTIVE CUSTODY. (PHOTO).

 In an almost unbelievable story, 88 children were rescued from an Iowa church "summer camp" and are now in protective custody!


The Louisa County Sheriff's Department said they now have 88 children in protective custody after conducting a child saftey operation.


According to reports, the Sheriff's Office swept into the Shekinah Glory Summer Camp in Columbus Junction, Iowa on Thursday, June 12th and Friday, June 13th. The operation was in response to multiple reports of child a**** and endangerment regarding the children who were attending. 


After conducting their operation, the children were loaded onto buses and taken to a nearby church to meet with child protection workers. It was understandably a very chaotic scene. After being interviewed, ALL of the children were placed into emergency temporary foster care until all parents and guardians could be contacted. 


These parents paid $500 per child for this alleged summer camp! 


This is an ongoing investigation and authorities have not released any additional information regarding the extent of the a**** or potential suspects in the case.
