 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. A FLORIDA FATHER MADE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE ON FATHER'S DAY.(PHOTO).

 A Florida father made the ultimate sacrifice on Father's Day.


33-year-old Antwon Wilson was enjoying Father's Day at the beach in Ft. Lauderdale with his daughters when everything changed for this family. Circumstances required their father to step up and show what a father's love means and Antwon did not hesitate. The incident unfolded shortly after 7 P.M. only minutes after lifeguards finished their last shift of the day.


As Antwon was in the water he noticed his young  daughter was struggling in the rough surf. When seconds counted and his young daughters life hung in the balance Antwon sprang into action.


Antwon struggled through the rough waters and managed to reach his daughter. He was then able to keep her afloat until 

lifeguards who fortunately hadn't left for the day, could make it to his daughter.


Sadly, after handing his daughter off to the lifeguards Antwon was immediately pulled underwater. Antwon was recovered from the water only minutes later.


Both father and daughter were rushed to Broward Health Medical Center where Antwon passed away. Antwon's young daughter is expected to make a full recovery. Her father's selfless act saved her life.
