Yemen fighting pushes nearly 3,000 to Djibouti in less than a week: UN    Nearly 3,000 people have fled Yemen for Djibouti in less than a week as escalating violence drives growing displacement within the country and across its borders, the UN refugee agency said Friday. “Refugees continue to arrive by boat through Obock, Khor Angar, Moulhoule and Godoria after difficult journeys in small vessels,” UNHCR representative in Djibouti Sandrine Desamours told reporters in Geneva, Anadolu Agency reported. More than half of those crossing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait are women and children, while some families have been displaced for a second time after previously fleeing Yemen during the 2015 crisis and later returning. UNHCR is preparing for at least 10,000 new arrivals but warned that capacity is rapidly diminishing. A TERRE HAUTE, INDIANA WOMAN IS FACING SERIOUS CHARGES AFTER CAUSING AN ACCIDENT WHILE INTOXICATED THAT TOOK THE LIVES OF TWO JUVENILES.(PHOTO).

 A Terre Haute, Indiana woman is facing serious charges after causing an accident while intoxicated that took the lives of two juveniles.


Misty Casey was operating an SUV with 4 juvenile occupants on Saturday, June 7th. As she traveled west on Oak Street she failed to stop at a stop sign causing her to collide with a truck. 


The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries. Two of the juveniles in Casey's SUV suffered non-life threatening injuries,  however the other two minor children lost their lives as a result of the collision. 


Authorities report that Misty Casey had THC in her system as well as a BAC of 0.22.


Misty Casey was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Resulting in Death and Confinement. 


There is no information regarding Casey's relationship to the deceased. The incident remains under investigation.
