 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  ABANDONED NEWBORN BABY RESCUED IN KATSINA ALA, BENUE STATE




An abandoned newborn baby has been rescued by the River Side near Rice Mills, Katsina Ala, Benue State. 


An eyewitness told Benue info-pedia,  that the baby was found a few hours after being abandoned by an unknown person.


A resident living close to the scene discovered the newborn and drew the attention of people who then took swift action to ensure the baby’s safety.


She is currently receiving care and efforts are being made to locate the suspected mother. 


Right now the baby is at Dogara house near the central mosque, Hausa quarters, in Katsina Ala, LGA of Benue State.


Meanwhile, relevant authorities are investigating the incident.
