 Stephen Baldwin claims he was fired from rom-com for being 'funnier' than Jennifer Aniston Stephen Baldwin recently revealed that he was originally cast in the 1998 romantic comedy The Object of My Affection but was dismissed early in production. On his podcast One Bad Movie, Baldwin explained he had been chosen to play Vince McBride, the boyfriend of Jennifer Aniston’s character Nina Borowski.  However, after just two days on set, a producer told him there was a “problem”  specifically, that he was “funnier than Jennifer,” which they felt undermined the film’s dynamic. ARREST  OF SUSPECTED CULTISTS, ARMED ROBBER, RECOVERY OF TWO PUMP ACTION GUNS, ONE LOCALLY MADE CUT-TO-SIZE GUN


On 18/06/2025 at about 12:20hrs Eagle-Net Surveillance Team stationed at Ughelli North LGA, while on Routine stop and search duty along Otokutu Bridge, Warri intercepted a black Toyota Corolla car with registration number RSH 90 RC driven by one Telvin Richmond m’, aged 27 years of Opete by Otokutu and one Frank Obiorah m’, aged 26 years of the same address. The vehicle and the suspects were subjected to a thorough search of the car, a locally made cut-to-size gun, two (2) yellow hand-bands inscribed with NBM “neo black movement”, one battle axe and a wooden pistol, all concealed inside the compartment of the vehicle doors. Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects are members of the Aiye confraternity, and he bought the gun in the year 2024 for the sum of eighty-seven thousand naira from another suspect presently at large. Suspects are in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.


In an earlier development, operatives of the Special Anti-Kidnapping and Cybercrime Squad, while carrying out an investigation against a native doctor by name- Okonji Chimeze m'  47 yrs of Umuehe Quarter Ibusa, on 14/6/2025 at about 0630hrs, acting on a credible intelligence, operatives of the Special Anti-Kidnapping and Cybercrime Squad stormed the suspect's residence at Ibusa.  A search Warrant was executed in the premises of the suspect during which two automatic pump-action guns and one cutlass were recovered hidden inside the ceiling of the suspect's room. The suspect and exhibits are in custody as the investigation is ongoing.
