 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  Assistant DHS Secretary TriciaOhio Responds Sharply to Kim Kardashian’s Criticism of Trump Immigration Policy


A top Department of Homeland Security official fired back at Kim Kardashian Wednesday after the reality TV star described Immigration and Customs Enforcement deportation raids as “inhumane.” 


“@KimKardashian, which one of these convicted child molesters, murderers, drug traffickers and rapists would you like to stay in the county?“ Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin wrote in an X post directed at the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star.


McLaughlin’s post included mugshots and violent profiles of four illegal migrants recently nabbed in ICE enforcement operations. 


Among them, were: Eswin Uriel Castro, a previously deported illegal immigrant with criminal convictions for child molestation, being armed with a dangerous weapon; Gerardo Antonio-Palacios, a Mexican national with previous convictions for homicide and burglary; Antonio Benitez-Ugarte, another illegal immigrant from Mexico with a prior drug trafficking conviction; and Mab Khleb, a 53-year-old illegal immigrant from Cambodia with a criminal history that includes conviction for possession and transport of a controlled substance, lewd action with a child and battery. 


“These are just a few of the convicted illegal criminals who have been picked up in the last 72 hours,” McLaughlin noted.
