 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  Benue Governor Suspends Aide Over Sextortion and Blackmail Allegations


Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia has indefinitely suspended his Special Adviser on Documentation, Research, and Planning, Mkor Aondona, following the aide’s arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on allegations of sextortion, cyberbullying, and blackmail. The suspension, announced on Sunday via a statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, takes immediate effect pending the outcome of the EFCC’s investigation.


Governor Alia described the allegations as “deeply troubling” and emphasized that his administration would not shield any official involved in criminal or unethical conduct. “This administration was elected to serve with integrity and discipline,” the statement read. “Any official involved in acts capable of tarnishing the image of government or eroding public trust will be held accountable.”


Reaffirming his commitment to transparency and accountability, Alia stressed that public servants must uphold the highest ethical standards. He also pledged to protect the rights and dignity of all citizens, particularly women and vulnerable groups, and assured continued cooperation with law enforcement to ensure justice. The suspended aide has been directed to fully cooperate with the EFCC and face the legal process without interference from the state government.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
