 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  Benue State Declares Public Holiday for President Tinubu’s Condolence Visit


The Benue State Government has announced Wednesday, June 18, 2025, as a public holiday to facilitate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s one-day condolence visit to the state. The visit comes in response to recent violent attacks that have claimed numerous lives in Benue.


According to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Serumun Deborah Aber, President Tinubu, who cut short his schedule to make the trip, will commiserate with the government and people of Benue over the tragic incidents. The holiday aims to allow residents to warmly receive the President and his delegation during this significant visit.


The directive exempts essential service workers, including medical personnel, security agencies, and banking institutions. The government urged citizens to turn out in large numbers to welcome the President, emphasizing the symbolic importance of the visit.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
