 JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Mop-Up Results, Set to Begin Candidate Ranking The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise. This crucial update marks the end of the testing phase for the current academic session, paving the way for the next stage of the tertiary admission process. According to a statement issued by JAMB's Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, candidates who sat for the mop-up examination can now access their performance details through the board's approved result-checking channels. Candidate Ranking and Admission Letter Printing With the mop-up results now live, JAMB is transitioning immediately into the screening and placement phase. CYCLIST KILLED IN ACCIDENT AT SELWANE BRIDGE. (PHOTO).

 Cyclist Killed in Accident at Selwane Bridge


A cyclist was knocked down by a Hyundai H1 at Selwane Bridge yesterday at around 17:30. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) confirmed the cyclist had died at the scene.


The identity of the deceased has not yet been released, as authorities are working to inform the family.


Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
