 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  DADDY SHOWKEY SAYS PASUMA FED HIM FOR 3 YEARS


Legendary musician Daddy Showkey has revealed that Fuji superstar Wasiu Alabi Pasuma fed his family for three when he was hospitalized and unable to work.


“I was in the hospital for three years," Showkey said. "Pasuma was the one taking care of my family. I can never forget him in my life."


Daddy Showkey recounted that after suffering a near-fatal accident in 2007 and Pasuma supported him for many years, many industry colleagues still turned their backs when he knocked for help.


“I visited some people after I recovered," he revealed. "They told me they weren’t home even while I saw their cars parked. But Pasuma? He stood with me during good and bad times.”
