 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  God bless America for giving me a better life – Ghanaian soldier who resigned after 19 years to join US Army shares


Ghanaian military veteran and social media sensation Kwaku Raymond, widely known online as “EchoLima,” has just leveled up — big time.


"After nearly two decades of loyal service in the Ghana Armed Forces, EchoLima officially announced on June 4, 2025, that he has joined the United States Army. 


The news dropped on his buzzing TikTok page, where he shared the emotional milestone with his growing fanbase.


“20 years ago (2005), I was enlisted in the Ghana Army. 


After 19 years and 4 months, I resigned and relocated to the United States… God bless America and the American Army for giving me this opportunity and a better life. I am a warrior and a member of a team,” he proudly declared.
